I have found the best experience happens with a webcam that supports 4K video resolution and is capable of at least 30 frames per second (FPS).

The most important aspect to having a successful meeting is the speed of your network and Internet connection. You might have the best 4K webcam, but if your Internet speed is slow, the other person will appear choppy, and you won’t hear the audio clearly because all that 4K data won’t be able to reach the other person fast enough for it to make a difference. If there is one place to spend a little extra, it is on obtaining a very fast Internet connection.
